Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") set forth the conditions for using the iOS application Flowy ("App") provided by ToneBEYOND ("we," "us," or "our"). By installing or using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not install or use the App.

The App is a personal-use tool intended for viewing, managing, and assisting with the performance of sheet music. It may not be used for commercial purposes.

• You bear sole responsibility for all copyright matters relating to content (sheet music, images, PDFs, etc.) imported into the App.
• Use of copyrighted content is limited to the scope of Article 30 of the Copyright Act of Japan (reproduction for private use).
• The App does not transmit or store sheet music data on external servers. All data is stored only on your device.
• Images generated with the sheet music crop (scrap) feature must be used solely for personal practice purposes and must not be used for distribution to third parties.

The following acts are prohibited:

• Distributing or sharing copyrighted sheet music with third parties
• Publishing images generated by the App on social media or elsewhere
• Using the App for commercial purposes (such as selling sheet music or diverting it to performances)
• Reverse engineering or tampering with the App
• Use that violates laws, regulations, or public order and morals

• The App's backup feature stores data only on your device ("On My iPhone"). It does not export to iCloud, AirDrop, or external storage.
• Backup files are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and cannot be restored on any device other than the one that created them. This is a copyright protection measure to prevent unauthorized transfer of sheet music images.
• In the event of loss of the device or a change of device model, restoring data from a backup may no longer be possible. Management of important data is the responsibility of the user.

For copyright protection purposes, the App displays a warning when it detects a screenshot or screen recording of the playback screen. This is a feature intended to support users' copyright compliance.

The App is completely free, with no advertisements and no in-app purchases that unlock features. Every feature is available to every user.

• Optional Tip Jar: The App offers optional tips (consumable in-app purchases). Tips are entirely optional and purchasing does not unlock any features — they may be used solely as an expression of gratitude for the development.
• Billing: Tip purchases are made through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms of use.
• Refunds: Because tips are consumable, refunds are not generally available after purchase. Any refund request must be made to Apple directly under Apple's refund policy.

• We assume no responsibility whatsoever for copyright infringement or any other damages arising from use of the App.
• The App is provided as-is. We do not guarantee the completeness or continuity of its operation.
• Updates to the App may add, change, or remove features.

The App is distributed through the App Store provided by Apple Inc. Apple is not a party to these Terms and bears no responsibility for the App or its content.

All inquiries regarding maintenance, support, product claims, and legal compliance should be directed to us, not Apple.

We may change these Terms as necessary. If there are material changes, we will notify you within the App. If you continue to use the App after such changes, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any disputes relating to these Terms.
